Cut Your Own Christmas Tree

We open our farm to the public yearly for Cut Your Own Christmas Trees. The 2024 season starts on November 30th, and we’ll be open every day (from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) until Christmas Eve. Cutting your own Christmas Tree at Duff Christmas Tree Farm is a family tradition. Below, you will find answers to frequently asked questions that will help you plan your visit to the farm. Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are open to the public for sales of Christmas Trees daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from 30/11/24 to 24/12/24. You do not need to book your visit.

  • Our farm is located close to Buchlyvie village and on the edge of the Trossachs. Despite its rural location, we are within easy reach of Glasgow, Stirling, and much of West and Central Scotland. Click here or the location button on this website’s menu for a map and more detailed instructions.

  • Cutting your own Christmas Tree is great fun. We will provide a saw for you to cut the tree. However, you should bring gloves and something to kneel on. We also recommend that you wear wellies as we are on a farm and it may be muddy in the fields.

  • There is no need to book, just come along.

  • There is plenty of free parking. Look out for instructions and car parking attendants at busy times.

  • Yes, you can, as long as they are well-behaved. Please keep a careful eye on them, especially around the car park.

  • We have pre-cut trees of all sizes available, and wreath stands, mistletoe, and lights are also on sale. We also have our homemade mince pies, jams, and marmalade.

  • Yes, we will have food trucks open at the weekends.

  • We prefer credit/debit card payments but still accept cash.

  • Yes we do to selected local postcodes.
